About the Role Many enterprise organizations still rely on fragmented systems, disconnected platforms, and manual workflows that create inefficiencies, slow decision-making, and impact the customer experience. Our team is building a modern AI-driven platform designed to streamline operations, unify data, and support intelligent automation across business-critical workflows. We are now expanding our platform capabilities to include a unified data foundation and advanced AI-powered systems, including conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, AI agents, vector search capabilities, and workflow automation. This Principal Product Manager role will play a key part in defining and scaling that vision. Position Overview This role operates within a cross-functional leadership structure alongside engineering and program leadership, owning both the enterprise data platform and the intelligence systems built on top of it. Responsibilities span strategic planning through hands-on execution across platform infrastructure, integrations, AI capabilities, and scalable product initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing highly technical platform discussions with customer-facing AI experiences while driving alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Strategy & Technical Leadership * Own the long-term product vision and strategic direction for the data platform and AI systems. * Define AI product initiatives including conversational workflows, intelligent recommendations, and search capabilities informed by customer feedback and operational insights. * Evaluate technical trade-offs related to model selection, retrieval strategies, orchestration frameworks, and AI governance. * Partner closely with engineering leadership to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across systems. Planning, Execution & Delivery * Own and maintain a unified product roadmap spanning platform infrastructure and AI initiatives. * Create product requirements documents, business cases, and implementation plans with clearly defined success metrics. * Define and monitor KPIs including platform uptime, latency, adoption, operational efficiency, and customer impact. * Support go-to-market planning and pricing strategies for AI-enabled capabilities. Cross-Functional Leadership * Coordinate execution across multiple product and engineering teams in a highly collaborative environment. * Work directly with customers, stakeholders, and integration partners to validate product direction and business priorities. * Present roadmap updates, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to leadership teams. * Mentor and support product team members while helping establish product management best practices. Qualifications * 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise data platforms, integrations, SaaS infrastructure, or related systems at scale. * 7+ years of product management experience owning platform or infrastructure products through the full product lifecycle. * Experience building and launching AI-powered features, intelligent workflows, or agent-based systems in production environments. * Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data modeling, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven systems. * Experience working within AWS or comparable cloud environments. * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across business, product, and engineering audiences. * Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and roadmap planning capabilities. Preferred * Experience supporting retail, automotive, logistics, fintech, or operational technology environments. * Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, conversational AI, retrieval systems, or agent orchestration platforms. * Knowledge of compliance, data governance, and consumer data privacy considerations related to AI-enabled systems. * Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise integrations.
