The Product Manager – Rail leads the Eddyfi Technologies , AVS product roadmap for the global rail industry. This role identifies market opportunities, prioritizes high-value initiatives, and guides products from concept to launch, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, business goals, and market timing. Working closely with customers, engineering, and technical teams, the Product Manager delivers differentiated solutions that address critical rail challenges, drive competitive advantage, and support long-term business growth .

As a Product Manager – Rail , you must be able to :

  • Develop deep knowledge of global rail markets, customer needs, industry trends, regulations, and competitors to inform product strategy.
  • Identify , validate , and prioritize new product opportunities and translate insights into clear requirements and roadmaps.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by engaging clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product direction.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from concept and launch to ongoing enhancement and end-of-life.
  • Define product requirements and balance customer needs, technical feasibility, business goals, and portfolio priorities.
  • Build business cases for new initiatives, including market opportunity, revenue potential, resource needs, and pricing strategy.
  • Track product performance through key metrics such as adoption, retention, and revenue impact.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, sales, marketing, operations, and support to deliver successful product outcomes.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, balancing maintenance, architecture, and innovation initiatives.
  • Partner with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, training, and sales enablement.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap internally to build alignment and support across teams and leadership

What makes you an a sset to our team :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management and product development.
  • Strong business acumen , intrapreneur, with the ability to assess market opportunities, define product strategy, and drive profitable growth.
  • Proven success building and executing product roadmaps aligned with business objectives .
  • Deep understanding of railroad infrastructure, applications, customer needs, and global market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to turn market data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with inspection technologies and applying technology to solve customer and operational challenges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and product management/collaboration tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with digital and AI-enabled tools that improve analysis, decision-making, and productivity.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize high-impact work.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • High integrity, accountability, curiosity, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, tradeshows, and industry events.
