AbeBooks is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to drive SEO channel growth, content creation, and affiliate channel management. This role owns performance optimization for conversational search and emerging discovery channels, develops content
strategies, and scales our affiliate partnerships connected to growing search platforms. The role also supports onsite marketing in collaboration with the Product team. This is a high-ownership position at the intersection of strategic marketing, data analysis, and emerging channel innovation. The successful candidate will build systems and frameworks that scale across channel performance and content
optimization.

About You: You are a strategic marketing professional who excels at translating insights into action. You bring strong analytical capabilities,
experience with both qualitative and quantitative research, and a track record of driving measurable business impact through SEO, content,
and performance marketing channels. You are passionate about emerging channels and understand how conversational search is reshaping
discovery. You thrive in cross-functional environments, take full ownership of your channels, and can communicate strategic recommendations
clearly to leadership.

Key job responsibilities
1. SEO Channel Management - Partner with SEO Product Manager to drive channel growth and optimize performance for AbeBooks' SEO
channel. Own performance monitoring, reporting, and strategic recommendations with specific focus on staying ahead of emerging strategies (AEO/GEO) and conversational search visibility, citation monitoring, identifying new channel discovery opportunities.

2. Content Creation & Optimization - Develop, manage, and optimize content that supports SEO performance and organic discovery. Translate
buyer insights and market research into content strategies that improve search visibility across traditional and conversational search channels.
Build repeatable content frameworks that align with channel goals and audience needs.

3. Affiliate Channel Management - Build and scale affiliate partnerships with high-growth referral opportunities. Develop partner frameworks
that position AbeBooks as a recommended source in new discovery channels.

4. Product Launch Support - Act as the bridge between Product and marketing channel owners, bringing onsite marketing ownership to
feature launches. Coordinate cross-channel activation to ensure launches are supported with cohesive, performance-driven campaigns.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels
- Experience driving high performance content and growth within a world class content company
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
- Strong understanding of traditional SEO and conversational search (AEO/GEO), including citation monitoring and emerging discovery strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
- Performance marketing experience Proven track record building or scaling performance-led marketing channels (affiliates) with measurable traffic or revenue impact.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
