We're seeking a bold, strategic, and people-focused Senior Director of Digital Marketing to lead our marketing and DTC e-commerce strategy. Based in Ferndale, Washington, this is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a category-leading brand alongside a collaborative, values-driven team. Requirements: This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You'll report directly to senior leadership and have broad ownership over Barlean's digital growth engine: Own and drive the DTC e-commerce strategy for Barleans.com (Shopify), from traffic to conversion to retention. Manage and optimize a monthly digital media budget across paid search, paid social, display, and emerging channels Lead all digital marketing channels: paid media, email (Klaviyo), SEO, SMS, affiliate, influencer, social, and marketplace/retail media platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels). Drive CRO and A/B testing to continuously improve site performance, UX, and mobile experience. Build and lead a lean in-house marketing team Manage agency and vendor relationships Partner with R D, Sales, and Operations to execute product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions. Build a best-ln-class analytics infrastructure, own reporting, KPIs, and performance insights across all channels. Identify, evaluate, and onboard emerging platforms, tools, and technologies (Al, automation, retail media) Develop subscription growth and retention strategies to maximize LTV and reduce churn. Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all digital touchpoints. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 7+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior DTC e-commerce leadership role. Deep expertise with Shopify and the modern DTC tech stack (Klaviyo, Subscription platforms, GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, SEO tools, etc.) Proven track record scaling a DTC brand, supplements, wellness, or natural products experience strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills with a performance-marketing mindset; you make decisions from data, not gut alone. Experience managing sizable media budgets with measurable ROAS/CAC/LTV outcomes. A mobile-first mentality, you obsess over the mobile customer experience. Hands-on leader who can build strategy and get in the weeds to execute. Strong communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams and present to leadership Subscription commerce experience a major plus (Recharge, Ordergroove, or similar) A genuine passion for health, wellness, and the natural products space. Advanced Amazon marketplace knowledge a bonus. WORKING CONDITIONS This is an onsite position at our Ferndale, WA location. Working conditions and hours are normal for an office environment. This position requires periodic overnight travel.
