Has product management responsibilities th encompass supplier management, pricing, inventory and inventory planning, promotions, marketing, forecasting activities and stregy across assigned product cegories. Facilites all aspects of the sales process to include identifying new opportunities; developing sales solutions; closing sales opportunities; negotiing pricing; providing outstanding customer service and follow-up. Partners with other sales personnel to ensure sales efforts are maximized and opportunities uncovered. The role partners closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure service levels are met while maintaining inventory turn targets and minimizing overstock.

Primary Duties:
- Understands the companys vision, mission, and stregy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
- Manages stregic relionships between BlueLinx and key suppliers within assigned cegories. Manage remanufacturing stregies for less-desirable sizes to balance inventory and align with turn-day targets. Establish mutual goals with key suppliers, align expections and review progress during Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Has assigned product responsibility including managing inventory levels, product sourcing, managing inventory turns, building vendor relionships, providing local sales plans/forecasts and purchasing decisions. Procure inventory into hub locions th service multiple BlueLinx regions. Manage inventory turns to targeted levels while minimizing overstock exposure. Review and manage internal transfers ensuring tallies align with industry standards. Manage transfer outflows by recommending alternive SKUs to maintain flow and avoid purchase order backlogs. Support the commercial team with inventory guidance to ensure service levels are met while achieving inventory benchmarks.
- Identifies new sales opportunities with existing customers. Maximizes sales efforts by focusing sales time on largest most profitable opportunities (may include segmenting account list and creing customer / product sales plans). Provides suppliers with forward-looking purchase forecasts to support effective supply-chain planning.
- Responsible for all aspects of internal sales process for assigned products including promoting product to other sales employees, product pricing, developing promotional literure and market intelligence.
- Support pricing PLRs and Nional Account programs reled to assigned cegories. Improves profitability, product penetrion and product mix with all customers.
- Manage risk through approprie procurement stregies and development of product roadmaps. Evalue market conditions and develop new supplier relionships to ensure product offerings align with building and construction trends.
- Qualifies sales opportunities through market / customer research and teaming with outside sales representives.
- Develops sales solutions and competitive pricing stregies. Communices value proposition to customers. Proposes sales solutions to customers and reevalues solutions where necessary.
- Closes sales opportunities by gaining purchase orders and executing all order fulfillment procedures.
- Provides outstanding customer service and post sales sisfaction, faciliting long-term relionships for repe business
Wh Were Looking For:
- 5-7+ years experience with a bachelors degree - equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Self-motived, high energy, persistent, and sense of urgency
- Proven track record of sales success ability to drive growth as well as maintain a large book of business.
- Demonstred success in problem solving - must be creive and innovive.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and work cross functionally.
- Superior Interpersonal skills - proficient in both written and verbal communicions
- Working knowledge of assigned product line, customer support/service, and inventory management.
- Possesses well developed consultive selling skills, and confident in negotiion win/win outcomes.
- Negoties prices, provides market updes, prospects, and evalues sales funnels.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The salary range provided is a good faith estime based on the position requirements and market da. Actual compension will depend on factors including experience, qualificions, skills, geographic locion, and other job-reled considerions.
