Director of Communications & Community Partnerships

Description/Notes:
Provide leadership and coordination for districtwide communications, community engagement, marketing, and partnership initiatives in support of Lago Vista ISDs mission, vision, and strategic priorities.
Lead efforts to strengthen community trust, promote meaningful engagement, enhance awareness of district programs and opportunities, and cultivate partnerships that support students, staff, and families.
Serve as a collaborative, hands-on leader responsible for supporting strategic communication, storytelling, community relations, and partnership development efforts that advance student success and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, education, business, or related field required
Masters degree preferred
Minimum of 35 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, marketing, public relations, community engagement, or related leadership roles
Experience in public education preferred
Experience with strategic communications, branding, crisis communication, digital media management, and community engagement preferred
Experience building partnerships with businesses, community organizations, or higher education institutions preferred
