Summary

The Senior Director of Internal Communications (Enterprise) is a strategic leader responsible for connecting all employees to TFCs mission, strategy, and culture through enterprise-wide communications. This individual will drive clear, consistent, and engaging communications that inform, inspire, and align our global workforce.

Reporting to the SVP of Communications and working in close partnership with the leadership, HR, and the broader Marketing team, this role oversees the development and execution of enterprise-wide internal communications programs, campaigns, and events. From company updates and safety communications to culture-building initiatives, the Senior Director is a skilled storyteller and strategic advisor who builds cohesion across business units and communication channels.

A critical dimension of this role is collaboration with the Communications Business Partners who serve TFCs individual lines of business and corporate functions. This role works in close partnership with these colleagues to ensure enterprise narratives are activated consistently across all brands and functions, and that the enterprise IC strategy reflects what is happening on the ground across the business.

This leader will scale and evolve the enterprise internal communications function to meet the growing needs of the business, including managing a high-performing team and introducing scalable tools, programs, and platforms that enhance the employee experience and drive measurable engagement.

This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Enterprise Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive enterprise internal communications strategy aligned to TFCs business objectives, priorities, and values.
  • Create and manage the enterprise-wide communications calendar, ensuring all-employee programs are planned, coordinated, and executed with consistency and quality.
  • Partner closely with the SVP of Communications to translate strategic direction into programs, content, and measurable outcomes.

Leadership Alignment, Messaging & Executive Communications

  • Partner with the SVP Communications to execute on CEO and executive communications strategy, ensuring senior leader communications are consistent, compelling, and aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Oversee the production of CEO and executive all-employee communications including emails, video scripts, town hall content, and all-company announcements ensuring consistency of voice and a high standard of craft.
  • Manage a direct report dedicated to executive communications production, providing direction, feedback, and quality oversight on all executive-voice content.
  • Support executive preparation for enterprise events, including briefing materials, talking points, and presentation frameworks.
  • Coach and advise senior leaders on internal engagement approaches and communication best practices.

Content Development & Channel Management

  • Oversee creation of engaging, relevant content across enterprise channels from written communications and videos to live events and toolkits.
  • Ensure content is audience-focused, timely, and reflective of TFCs tone and culture.
  • Own enterprise internal digital channel strategy, setting direction and standards across all internal digital platforms.
  • Manage a direct report dedicated to internal digital channel operations, providing oversight and direction on day-to-day channel management, content publishing, and platform governance.
  • Partner with IT and HR to ensure digital platforms serve the evolving needs of the business and the workforce.

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Shape and amplify programs that strengthen company culture, promote two-way dialogue, and reinforce TFCs purpose, values, and brand internally.
  • Lead the people leader communications program.
  • Develop and maintain a Manager Communications Toolkit and People Leader Portal as standing enterprise capabilities.

Events & Experiences

  • Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide internal events, including Town Halls and Exchanges.
  • Ensure experiences foster transparency and connection across geographies and levels.

HR Program & Safety Communications

  • Own enterprise HR program communications, including benefits enrollment, the annual employee survey, performance cycle communications, and other workforce-wide initiatives.
  • Lead enterprise safety culture communications as a named program, supporting TFCs internal safety narrative and ensuring consistent, timely communications on safety priorities.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4 year collete of university with a concentration in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • 1520 years of progressive experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, including senior leadership experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong editorial sensibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide internal communications programs at scale, including personally owning town halls, all-employee. programs, and large-scale internal events end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead communications during major organizational change (e.g., transformation, M&A, crisis, leadership transitions).
  • Deep understanding of how internal communications influences culture, performance, and trust.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable messaging.
  • Collaborative working style with a demonstrated ability to partner across a matrixed communications function working closely with brand and functional communications partners to activate enterprise programs consistently.
  • Innovative storyteller with fluency across content formats (editorial, digital, video, live events, etc.).
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing communications teams.
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, and internal partners across functions and geographies.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, complexity, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to meet multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with internal communications platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Viva Engage, Poppulo, or equivalent digital workplace tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish feedback mechanisms pulse surveys, focus groups, channel analytics to ensure communications are responsive and continuously improving.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, global workforce and foster an inclusive communication culture.
