Social Media Marketing Assistant

Are you creative, organized, and excited about using social media to make a positive impact? British Swim School St. Louis is seeking a Social Media Marketing Assistant to help us share our mission of teaching lifesaving water safety skills to families across our community.
This is a fully remote, flexible, part-time role perfect for someone looking to grow their marketing experience while supporting a meaningful local business.
Position Details

• Hours: 68 hours per week

Qualifications

• 1+ years of marketing experience
• 1+ years of graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools)
• Experience with short-form video editing (e.g., CapCut, Instagram Reels, TikTok tools)
• Strong communication, organization, and creativity
• Ability to work independently and reliably meet deadlines
• Ability to recognize and implement popular social media trends
• Bonus: Passion for families, aquatics, education, or community-based businesses

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Develop visual assets including graphics, short videos, and photo edits
• Assist in planning monthly content calendars and campaign strategies
• Monitor social media engagement (comments, messages, tags) and interact with our online community
• Track social media metrics and share performance insights
• Collaborate with the internal team to highlight student progress, instructor features, and water safety initiatives

Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
