About the Role: Marketing Project Coordinator:
The Marketing Project Coordinator plays a key role in shaping and maintaining North Range’s presence in the community by promoting our programs, services, and mission. This position supports a wide range of marketing and communication initiatives designed to build brand awareness, reduce stigma around behavioral health, and strengthen connections with community partners and residents across Weld County.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and community partners to plan and deliver impactful campaigns, events, and sponsorships. You’ll help manage digital platforms, social media, newsletters, and press communications while ensuring consistency in messaging and brand standards. From coordinating community events and sponsorships to creating engaging content and supporting public relations efforts, the Marketing Project Coordinator ensures that our message is clear, professional, and accessible to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director in creating, editing, and updating electronic or printed communications that promote agency programs/services and enhance the North Range brand.
  • Aid the Director in creating, coordinating, and communicating marketing project expectations to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Create communication strategies for the department to facilitate consistent and meaningful connections with the public through e-newsletter, social media platforms, online search engines, and other online platforms as assigned.
  • Facilitate translation processes for the agency by receiving and responding to staff requests, processing and submitting orders to vendors, and incorporating translated copy into assets.
  • Collaborate with the Director in creating sponsorship strategy; collaborate with Community Outreach and Education Coordinator to set criteria for evaluating sponsorship leads that expand reach, maintain brand promise, and create positive community impact.
  • Serve as agency liaison to community event coordinators and sponsorship contacts; process sponsorship agreements and invoices as approved by supervisor; and coordinate staff raffles for sponsorship benefits.
  • Assist the Director with managing printing, translation, and sponsorship budgets by regularly monitoring category expenses.
  • Assist with and support agency participation at events, trainings, and presentations. Create branded presentation and event materials to project a professional image that aligns with agency brand standards and goals. Provide varying degrees of support for events (i.e., minor support to working community events). Assist with maintaining accurate records for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of agency participation.
  • Assist Director in developing and managing strategy and approving content that supports efficient execution of online agency communication; manage digital (Google/Apple/Chamber of Commerce) profiles to maintain positive online reputation; manage blog and newsletter copy writing and design process; provide assistance to Director with managing and completing in-house website maintenance tasks; conduct periodic audits of website copy to ensure that services/programs and brand promise are accurately reflected; follow and maintain relevant presence on online platforms within agency, brand and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Coordinate proclamations for mental health observances and communications with municipalities and media contacts; manage, write, edit, and submit press releases; update and maintain press and email databases; respond to media requests and coordinate interviews as directed; edit agency communications as requested. Act as Public Information Officer (PIO) when assigned. Provide tours of facilities as needed.
  • Coordinate the development, standardization, and maintenance of processes that support efficient and accurate work for internal and external literature orders and department file organization on internal and cloud-based servers; design community facing and internal literature/assets; initiate and assist Director in developing effective ways for the agency to create, print, and distribute materials, literature, and assets; coordinate and process literature orders.
  • Conduct periodic literature audits with Director approval to ensure brand promise, values, mission, and program details are accurately reflected; research and implement opportunities that increase brand awareness, efficiencies in process, and cost effectiveness.
  • Work closely with other internal staff and external agencies/vendors to develop and update messaging, concepts, and copy used for online and print collateral as needed. Assist with and support campaign development, coordination, and delivery through the creation of content and applying the knowledge of basic marketing strategy, goals, activities, and design concepts; aid the Director with building timelines and processes, assigning tasks, and leading teams through project management and completion.
  • Provide marketing counsel and services for internal initiatives such as employee engagement, customer service, and internal events, as needed and appropriate.
  • Support the development and maintenance of tools that aid in the collection of data, for the purposes of ensuring that activity for marketing initiatives, strategies, and activities are data-driven and maintained to budget.
  • Support the daily tasks of the marketing department and collaborate with the marketing team on overall department strategies. May coordinate, support, and oversee projects and work outputs assigned to the marketing intern; provide guidance and direction to the marketing intern when the Director is unavailable.
  • Assist with creating video content for marketing and community engagement purposes. Contribute to the overall video content strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Public Relations, Psychology, or a related field that incorporates a significant amount of writing and interdisciplinary thought processes, or an equivalent combination and experience is required.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a driving record that meets agency insurability requirements.
  • Public Information Officer training preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.

Experience:

  • Three years of marketing and/or community outreach experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization, with demonstrated ability to manage projects of program or agency significance.
  • Preference given to those candidates with general experience with and knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Experience in event planning and execution is strongly preferred.
