The Vice President of Marketing plays a critical role on the executive leadership team, responsible for driving strategic marketing initiatives that fuel growth, elevate the brand, and support customer engagement. This leader will guide the organizations marketing vision, balancing creativity with data-driven execution to deliver meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing strategist with a passion for innovation, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Define and execute a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and accelerates growth across multiple channels.

Brand Development and Management

  • Lead brand positioning and messaging efforts to ensure a compelling, unified identity that resonates with key audiences and sets the company apart in the marketplace.

Sales Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue through robust lead generation strategies, high-impact collateral, and effective sales tools.

Product & Market Positioning

  • Oversee go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and pricing models that reflect market demand and support profitability.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Manage and mentor the marketing team to ensure executional excellence across campaigns, content, and digital platforms. This role also includes oversight of the shipping department to ensure seamless operational alignment.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Lead market research initiatives to gather actionable insights on customer behavior, emerging trends, and competitive activity.

Digital & Online Marketing Strategy

  • Own the digital customer experience, with a focus on SEO/SEM, online reviews, web analytics, and reputation management to increase visibility and conversion.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution

  • Champion automation tools and workflows to optimize customer communication and engagement. Lead a team focused on targeted email marketing, including nurture campaigns and behavior-driven outreach.

Competitive & Industry Analysis

  • Continuously evaluate competitors, market shifts, and innovation trends to inform strategic direction and uncover new opportunities.

Events & Brand Presence

  • Lead the planning and execution of major events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.

Corporate Communications

  • Oversee internal and external communications, including media relations, website content, corporate messaging, and PR strategies.

Budget Oversight

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and continuous optimization of spend to meet financial goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus

  • 810+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally in fast-paced, B2B environments

  • Demonstrated success in building and executing strategies that drive growth, brand equity, and customer acquisition

  • Strong track record in B2B marketing, especially engaging dealer and agent networks and expanding digital presence

  • Expertise in developing high-performing email campaigns with clear CTAs and measurable outcomes

  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (experience with ActiveCampaign is a plus)

  • Solid background in LinkedIn marketing, including targeting, content, and lead generation

  • Deep knowledge of digital strategy, analytics, and performance measurement

  • Excellent team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment

  • Experience in automotive or related industries preferred, but not required
