We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join an exciting logistics company that is in growth mode. Working with this great team in East York, you'll get to hone your sales skills and contribute to a vibrant, tight-knit team environment! This is an essential role with a growth path built in.

This role is a full-time permanent opportunity, and will transition to a hybrid work arrangement after your probationary period. If you have experience selling in the 3PL space we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Prospect and sign new clients by leveraging market knowledge, cold calling, and creative sales strategies
Manage and farm accounts once acquired, including identifying opportunities to increase sales
Provide world-class customer service to clients
Address any customer concerns in a prompt manner
Using provided CRM tools, maintain accurate logs and continually source for new clients

Qualifications
3+ years of progressive sales experience in the freight brokerage or logistics industry
Proficiency with logistics software is a strong asset
Knowledge of CRM systems (hubspot, zoominfo, salesforce)
Self-starter personality - you are goal oriented and intrinsically motivated!
Excellent communication skills in English
