We are looking for a Business Development Manager th is a self-starter with excellent prospecting and relionship building skills. This role will support the Business Development Director, identify opportunities and guide all parties through quoting, proofing and sampling for projects while communicing MCC's value proposition on packaging solutions. Primary Responsibilities: Culture: Model and promote the Company Vision, Mission and Values. Foster an innovive environment for evolving MCC's business th leverages the lest technology, nurtures unique supplier relionships, and acts fast to meet customer needs. Stregy: Working with the Director, Sales, communice, and implement the stregic plan for growing MCC's market . Develop and execute a pull stregy by building relionships with end users and end-user influencers. Decide on target sub-segments and define value proposition, product and service offer per targeted sub-segment Customers: Partner with the Sales team to assess prospective and existing customer's current and potential needs, with the ability to determine and recommend approprie products and solutions. Business Development: Aggressively lead the effort to identify organizions th have packaging needs th align with MCC's technical capabilities. Identify investment needs to expand capability within the market. R D and Technology: Leverage MCC's Technical Development and Innovion teams to help ensure th new designs can be engineered to meet customer needs. Operions & Supply Chain: Help maintain relionships with suppliers. Report on sales funnel to help ensure demand & supply chain planning can prepare for/react to incoming order volume. Financial: Work with the MCC estiming team on sharing customer feedback to ensure pricing is competitive within the marketplace. Compliance: Lead a culture of integrity, including compliance with all laws and regulions governing publicly held companies. Safety and Risk Management: Assure a safe work environment, and the protection and efficient use of organizion's assets. Qualificions: Bachelor's Degree required; with 5-10 years' relevant business and industry experience. Sales Support and Business Development experience required. Demonstred printing or packaging experience is required. Rional, logical, fact-driven decision making. Read and analyze the most complex documents. Strong problem solving and communicion skills. Demonstred ability to build relionships all levels and influence others. Proficient in Microsoft Office or the equivalent. The ability to cree and customize presentions required. Articule, clear, persuasive, and passione in the spoken and written word. Make effective and persuasive presentions on complex topics. Perform college level mhemical calculions and have ability to analyze da. Engineering training and/or educion will be preferred in this role as the nure of the business does benefit from a more technical capability. 50% Travel to customers, offices and plants. Solid experience in working with nional and global organizions.
