Position Overview Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Manager is responsible for advancing the mission of Baby2Baby through implementing marketing strategies, developing dynamic collateral, and increasing overall awareness for the organization. This individual will be tasked with various cross-functional responsibilities to support Baby2Baby's marketing needs as it pertains to content creation, public relations, collateral, events and sponsorship. The Marketing Manager will work Monday-Friday at 5830 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016. The work is performed in an office setting and is currently in office or on site 3-5 days per week. Duties and Responsibilities Leads the creation and ongoing development of marketing materials including one-sheets, decks, signage, and other collateral for external engagement opportunities. Partners cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment and effective marketing strategies across the organization. Supports the marketing department in implementing overall marketing strategy goals and objectives for advancing Baby2Baby's brand and mission. Manages graphic design workflow in collaboration with the Director, Marketing and Communications. Oversees the development and execution of collateral for annual Gala and year-round materials requested by departments across the organization in collaboration with Director, Marketing and Communications. Cultivates and manages relationships with third party agencies and vendors. Develops, deploys, and analyzes Baby2Baby newsletters to grow email database and engage target audience in collaboration with Marketing team. Maintains and optimizes the Baby2Baby website, ensuring timely updates to branding and organizational content. Leads marketing content deliverables at key Baby2Baby events, including development of shot lists and management of photographers and videographers. Supports media relations and other PR initiatives in partnership with a third-party agency. Establishes and maintains documentation of key processes and workflows with support from Marketing Assistant. Oversees and maintains an organized content library of all Baby2Baby assets with support from Marketing Assistant. Guides the procurement and organization of all branded collateral and promotional items. Supports marketing functions of external events including the annual Baby2Baby Gala, distributions and volunteer sessions. Tracks marketing budgets, invoices and expenses for department with support from Marketing Assistant. Manages Marketing Assistant. Additional duties, as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5 years' employment experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, time management, and self-starter mentality. Strong communicator and decision-maker. Organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-up, and able to work in a team environment. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral). Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop as well as WordPress. Graphic design and basic video editing experience a plus. Ability to run errands, as needed.
