Job Description
The Federal Consulting team seeks a Director, Communications to own the transformation narrative, stakeholder messaging, and executive updates across the Oracle Health Transformation Office. This is a hands-on communications leadership role that turns transformation work into clear, action-oriented messages that drive behavior and decisions. The Director creates the narrative and communications that support alignment, adoption, accountability, and executive decision-making.
The Director develops the messaging for why the Transformation Office exists and how it supports VA acceleration, creates executive-ready updates for steering committees and governance forums, and translates dashboard insights, risks, blockers, and decisions into clear leadership communications. Partnering with Strategy & Governance and the Change Lead, the Director keeps materials focused on decisions, actions, and escalations and drives adoption campaigns for new tools, SOPs, and process changes.

Job Responsibilities Include
Develop messaging for why the Transformation Office exists and how it supports VA acceleration.
Create executive-ready updates for steering committees and cross-functional governance forums.
Translate dashboard insights, risks, blockers, and decisions into clear leadership communications.
Partner with Strategy & Governance to ensure materials focus on decisions, actions, and escalations.
Partner with the Change Lead on adoption campaigns for new tools, SOPs, process changes, and usage expectations.
Maintain a communications calendar for updates, milestones, tool launches, and stakeholder messages.
Communicate AI-enabled delivery tool benefits, expectations, and success stories.
Basic Qualifications
At least 10 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including experience in corporate or executive communications, change communications, or transformation messaging.
Proven track record developing a program or transformation narrative and translating complex work into clear, action-oriented messages.
Experience creating executive-ready updates for steering committees, governance forums, and senior leadership audiences.
Demonstrated ability to translate data, risks, blockers, and decisions into concise leadership communications.
Experience maintaining a communications calendar and coordinating messaging across multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience partnering with change and adoption teams on campaigns for new tools, processes, and usage expectations.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to executive, functional, and field audiences.
Ability to obtain Federal security clearance (Public Trust) necessary for this role, which requires being a US citizen and residing in the US.
High attention to detail, precision, and an unwavering commitment to clarity and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Oracle Health, healthcare IT, Federal Consulting, or federal healthcare delivery environments.
Experience communicating in support of VA or other federal deployment programs.
Experience communicating the benefits and expectations of AI-enabled or automation delivery tools.
Familiarity with executive dashboards and translating dashboard insights into leadership narratives.
Ability to inspire cross-functional teams, uphold communication standards, and mentor junior team members.
Travel expectations: 20%

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
