Marketing Analyst

MARKETING ANALYST - IPOT Boston LLC dba Happy Lamb Hot Pot seeks highly qualified individual to fill professional position of Marketing Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts worksite. Duties include: Research, analyze, measure, and interpret quantitative and qualitative market data and information to plan and develop marketing and advertising campaigns for restaurant and brand; Research and maintain database of information and data on competitors, menu pricing, sales trends, customer demographics, marketing channels, regional competitors, and promotional strategies; Recommend changes or modifications to current marketing and advertising campaigns for restaurant brand, and establish new, innovative marketing activities to generate leads and increase brand awareness for existing and new restaurant locations; Observe budgetary constraints to make sure marketing and advertising activities and events are consistent with operations parameters; Develop and write marketing and analytical reports relating to restaurant sub-segments (e.g., casual dining, fine dining, online and retail sales, service style, etc.) with appropriate market and financial data input; Preparation and writing of marketing and sales financial reports and business analysis reports; Implement and track marketing campaigns across digital and local channels, and prepare performance summaries based on collected market data. Must report to company headquarters in Boston, MA, but 100% telecommuting is permitted, as this position is a fully remote work position, and the candidate may reside/work from anywhere within the United States. Minimum requirements: (1) Bachelors Degree in Economics or Finance, or in any suitable field of study or combination of education substantially related to Economics or Finance, or its US or foreign educational equivalent; (2) Strong proficiency in business analysis, resource allocation, and financial projections; (3) Strong proficiency in financial accounting principles, including financial statements (income statements, accounts receivable/payable, balance sheets, cash flow statements) and accounting reports (debit/credit journals and ledgers); (4) Working proficiency in basic business operations computer technologies, including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet; (5) Must have 1 year experience as Marketing Analyst, or 1 year experience in any related position providing proficiencies in items (2)-(4) above. Employer considers any suitable combination of experience in the job offered and the alternate experience substantially equivalent to descriptions in items (2)-(4) above. Must report to company headquarters in Boston, MA, but 100% telecommuting is permitted, as this position is a fully remote work position, and the candidate may reside/work from anywhere within the United States.
