This leadership role is responsible for developing fully integrated, consumer-led marketing plans that align to Retail business objectives and growth priorities. The Senior Marketing Manager partners closely with Merchandising leadership to translate business strategy into clear, actionable marketing plans that drive measurable consumer impact and strong financial performance. This role is designed for a well-rounded marketing generalist, with a preference for candidates who bring experience in social media and are looking to expand into broader, full-funnel marketing leadership.

This role also oversees owned social media channels as part of a broader integrated marketing remit, leveraging social expertise to strengthen overall campaign effectiveness. The Senior Marketing Manager drives market competitiveness and operational excellence through rigorous performance analysis, continuous process improvement, and effective agency and vendor management, while building and leading a high-performing team through strong coaching, development, and thoughtful resource planning.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the Marketing Director in determining and implementing the strategy across the organization.
  • Partners with the management team to identify, develop, and implement appropriate approaches, processes, and tools that elevate the marketing group.
  • Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with business objectives; provides marketing support to throughout the organization.
  • Works to identify and develop marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with business team. Communicates new ideas to director.
  • Delivers presentations and provides reports for the business to provide marketing information which may include marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
  • Works with external vendors and third parties to develop and maintain positive relationships. Builds and enhances internal and external partnerships.
  • Proactively provides Marketing solutions to address key business capabilities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of marketing or advertising experience; OR, a High School/GED and at least 7 years of marketing or advertising experience.
  • Experience using tools, techniques for collecting, collating and analyzing information about existing or potential markets and market needs.
  • At least 2 years of experience of cross functional team leadership
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience with Marketing Strategy development.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading integrated, consumer-led marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Experience in social media marketing, including oversight of owned social channels and integration of social into broader full-funnel campaigns.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience, with a proven ability to partner effectively across Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, Media, Analytics, and external agency partners.
  • Experience directly managing and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, prioritization, and resource planning.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing campaign and/or project budgets and evaluating marketing performance to drive optimization and measurable business impact.
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and translating complex business strategies, performance insights, and consumer trends into clear, actionable recommendations.

Salary Range: $115400 - $196200 / Salaried
