What You'll Do:Pelican is looking for a Senior Lifecycle & CRM Marketing Manager to transform our email program into a high-impact, insight-driven revenue engine. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of our lifecycle and email marketing ecosystem-from roadmap and automation to segmentation, testing, and performance analytics. You'll work at both the big-picture and hands-on levels, collaborating across Marketing, Ecommerce, and Creative teams while personally building and optimizing campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. This role reports to the Director of Marketing with a dotted line to the VP of Ecommerce.

Strategy & Leadership

Own and evolve Pelican's email and lifecycle marketing strategy to drive revenue, retention, and lifetime valueBuild a long-term roadmap for promotions, automation, personalization, and testingUse behavioral and lifecycle insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize customer journeys

Execution & Optimization

Plan, build, schedule, and deploy promotional and automated email campaignsLead A/B and multivariate testing-develop hypotheses, analyze results, and apply learningsBuild and optimize email templates to ensure strong brand consistency and cross-device performance

Analytics & Performance

Own email reporting, KPIs, and performance analysisMonitor deliverability, sender reputation, list health, and complianceDrive improvements in open rates, CTR, conversion, and revenue contribution

Segmentation & Personalization

Develop advanced audience segmentation based on behavior, engagement, and lifecycle stageLead personalization strategies to improve relevance and performanceOwn list growth, reactivation, and suppression best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with content, creative, and ecommerce teams to deliver timely, on-brand messagingRecommend new campaign concepts, lifecycle journeys, and cross-channel opportunities

What We're Looking For:

5-7+ years of email or lifecycle marketing experience (ecommerce or DTC preferred)Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionStrong analytical skills and comfort translating data into actionExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsExperience with Klaviyo and ShopifyAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, test-and-learn ecommerce environment
