BettingJobs is working with a well-established global iGaming operator, who are looking to hire an experienced SEO Specialist to join their growing team in Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Manage crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, and structured data.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and website performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Support international SEO initiatives, including hreflang implementation.
  • Develop and execute keyword and content strategies.
  • Perform competitor, market, and search trend analysis.
  • Monitor algorithm updates and recommend actions.
  • Prioritize SEO initiatives based on business impact and opportunity.
  • Track performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Create SEO content briefs and optimize existing content.
  • Build topic clusters and scalable content structures.
  • Optimize pages for search intent, SERP features, and E-E-A-T principles.
  • Support AI search visibility and generative search optimization (GEO/AEO).
  • Optimize content for AI-powered search experiences and answer engines.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools for SEO research, content optimization, and workflow automation.
  • Stay up to date with developments in AI search and organic discovery.
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, visibility, and conversion metrics.
  • Build reports and dashboards using SEO and analytics platforms.
  • Support tracking, attribution, and performance measurement initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in competitive or international markets.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including crawling, indexing, JavaScript SEO, schema markup, and site architecture.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • Understanding of international SEO and multi-market website management.
  • Experience with AI-powered search optimization (AEO/GEO) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with content, product, and development teams.
