Marketing Coordinator PAYETTE is a Boston-based architecture and design research practice. The firm advances innovation by integrating performance, form, and material systems into rigorously tested, high-impact buildings and campuses across academic, healthcare, and civic sectors. Our marketing team is small, highly collaborative and central to how the firm pursues and wins work. PAYETTE is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Boston-based marketing team. This is a junior-level position supporting a wide range of pursuits, communications and promotional activities across a dynamic architecture practice. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and contribute to proposals, design awards, project content and firm-wide initiatives that shape how PAYETTE presents itself to the world. We're looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented and curious about design. Strong writing skills, good visual instincts and a sense of ownership over your work are a must. What You'll Do:
- Support proposal and interview production: layout, editing, proofreading and submission
- Write and update project descriptions, resumes and boilerplate content
- Assist with design award assembly, editing and submission
- Maintain and update website content, project pages and publication records
- Track conference deadlines, edit abstracts and support presentation development
- Maintain digital asset management systems and project databases
- Support print production, exhibit coordination and industry survey research
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience (internships and co-ops count)
- Background in Business, Communications, Marketing, Design and/or Humanities
- Highly organized, deadline-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Ability to quickly adopt our processes in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and task management / database management software
- Good design sense and ability to work within brand standards
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Genuine curiosity about architecture, design and the built environment
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes as the team evolves
- Ability to produce work both independently and with large and small groups
