About the Role: As the Manager of Marketing for Lip, you will be responsible for driving brand growth, market share, and excitement in the highly dynamic gloss, liner, and balm segments. In this role, you will lead the development of innovative marketing strategies and execute flawless go-to-market plans for both breakthrough new product launches and our beloved core business franchises.

You will own and uncover deep consumer insights to initiate data-driven marketing campaigns, while managing business KPIs, financial forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. What You'll Do:
New Product Launches & Strategy
- Go-To-Market Ownership: Lead and supervise the entire go-to-market process, managing complex timelines across multiple product launches in partnership with cross-functional teams (Shopper Marketing, Social Media, PR, and Advocacy).
- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans and visions for your specific Lip segments, contributing to the broader lip category strategy.
- Global Collaboration: Partner closely with the global team (DMI) to influence new product pipelines based on portfolio competitive gaps, US market trends, and strong consumer insights.
- Commercial & Trade Strategy: Define sales and trade marketing strategies to optimize shelf presence, working alongside Creative teams to design compelling launch materials, merchandising, and sampling.
Business, P&L, & Financial Management
- Pricing & Profitability: Partner with Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Finance, and Sales (BBD) on new product pricing strategies; run and analyze franchise and product P&Ls.
- Margin Improvement: Collaborate with development partners to drive Gross Margin improvement and Value Analysis (VA) explorations for both existing hero franchises and new innovations.
- Forecasting & Budget Control: Take complete ownership of the category forecasting process (including E10 and Full Year targets), ensuring absolute accuracy of total category budgets in lockstep with Finance.
Advertising, Media, & Consumer Communications
- Breakthrough Campaigns: Work intimately with agency partners and internal media teams to build integrated, data-driven consumer communications across all touchpoints (from traditional media to digital, social, and creator-led activations).
- Asset Customization: Guide media recommendations and provide US-centric feedback to the global team during creative development, adapting and customizing assets for US-specific media plans.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze post-campaign media results to optimize creative assets and future media budget allocations.
People & Team Leadership
- Direct Management: Effectively manage, coach, and develop one (1) direct report, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as a collaborative hub between DMI, Commercial, Finance, and R&D teams to streamline processes and elevate team morale.
Who You Are:
Your Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelors degree required.
- Experience: 36 years of industry-related marketing experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or the Beauty/Cosmetics industry.
- Marketing Expertise: Prior experience in Operational/US Brand Marketing, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing a new product or franchise renovation through its entire lifecycle.
- Collaborative Track Record: Demonstrated success working alongside R&D, Product Development, and agency partners.

- Analytical Rigor: Strong quantitative data analysis skills; ability to interpret market research (Nielsen/NPD/SPINS) and financial P&L data to make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex launch timelines simultaneously.
- Communication: Strong written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior management and cross-functional partners.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and corporate data systems.
