Job Summary
A growing, community-focused organization in Anderson, SC is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead marketing, business development, community engagement, and brand awareness initiatives. The Marketing Manager will serve as a key ambassador for the organization, helping strengthen local relationships, coordinate events, manage marketing communications, and ensure consistent branding across locations and channels. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development, outreach, and partnership strategies that support organizational growth and community visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, nonprofits, trade associations, and industry partners.
- Lead marketing and brand management initiatives, including advertising campaigns, promotional content, signage, digital messaging, and branded materials.
- Plan and coordinate community events, sponsorships, meetings, outreach activities, and internal engagement programs.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners on printing, advertising, promotional products, event logistics, and marketing supplies.
- Prepare reports, presentations, updates, and communications for leadership meetings and strategic planning discussions.

- Salary range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead marketing communications, brand awareness, and outreach initiatives across multiple channels.
- Manage business development activities, community partnerships, and networking efforts.
- Coordinate events, sponsorship programs, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Support leadership with reporting, presentations, planning updates, and project coordination.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, community relations, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building, networking, and community engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, vendors, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business technology platforms.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Professional presence with the ability to represent the organization positively at community and business events.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, accountability, confidentiality, and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry or another highly relationship-based, community-focused business environment.
- Experience coordinating sponsorships, nonprofit partnerships, charitable initiatives, or local business events.
- Familiarity with brand management, promotional product coordination, advertising campaigns, and digital marketing communications.
- Prior experience serving as a public-facing company representative or community ambassador.
