Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications Position Summary The Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This position supports the College's marketing and communications efforts through content creation, social media management, analytics, and digital communications support. This role requires occasional evening and weekend availability to assist with campus events, photography, and social media coverage. Responsibilities Track and evaluate the College's print and digital marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and campaign performance Prepare reports and analytics to assess effectiveness and support marketing strategy decisions Assist in maintaining the accuracy and consistency of College webpages and marketing materials Coordinate with faculty and staff to update website and promotional content Create and produce in-house video content and multimedia projects Support social media content creation, scheduling, and event coverage Photograph and promote occasional evening and weekend campus events Complete additional communications and marketing projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Self-motivated with attention to detail Experience with social media platforms, photography, video production, and data analytics preferred Knowledge of WordPress, video editing software, and graphic design programs is a plus Eligibility Requirement Applicants must be admitted to a graduate program at Bethany College as a condition of employment.
