Strong ability to craft clear, engaging, and strategic communications tailored to a broad range
of audiences. Understanding of branding, digital engagement, media strategies, and

skills and detail orientation with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical skills to interpret public feedback and school/district data to inform

professionalism, responsiveness, and ethical conduct. Capacity for strategic storytelling that
highlights student success, school innovation, and community partnerships. Familiarity with
digital analytics tools, media platforms, basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark),
or willingness to learn. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork, innovation,
and continuous improvement. Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and
communication platforms.
Job Summary:
To support the development and implementation of effective communications and
marketing strategies by creating high-quality content, promoting district initiatives,
and enhancing engagement with families, staff, and the community, helping to
strengthen the district's brand, reputation, and connection with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism,
Education, or a related field from an accredited institution required. Master's degree
preferred.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in communications,
marketing, public relations, journalism, or K-12 education with demonstrated expertise
in strategic communications, content creation, or public engagement.
3. Experience in public education settings, particularly with leadership in communication,
event planning, family engagement, or school marketing, is highly desirable.
4. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
