The opportunity
Along with marketing management, is responsible for managing and developing (along with Senior Marketing Manager) product launches and product marketing campaigns by performing market research, creating marketing materials, assisting with content development, and tracking campaign performance. Key duties include help managing social media, collaborating with market researchpanies on designing and analyzing market research, updating databases, collaborating with sales and product teams, and conductingpetitor analysis to support product strategies and drive sales.
The role
Essential Functions:
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Continuously researching trends in the retail space to stay ahead of market shifts andpetitor activities. Uses these insights and syndicated research reports and other research vehicles to enhance product/retail marketing strategies. Conducts research andpetitor analysis to identify target markets and understand customers and consumers' needs. Uses data and insights to identify new opportunities for growth. Analyzes and reports on current business (sales, market s and pricing analysis) to help Product & Merchandising and Design team develop product or drop non-top preforming SKUs.
Performance Tracking and ing & Data Analysis:
Monitors and analyzes marketing campaign performance, social media analytics, and questionnaires. Prepares reports and presentations that summarize marketing activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing management.
Product Launch Assistance:
Develops marketing programs supporting new products and line-extension launches, featuring product consumer benefits via close collaboration with cross-functional teams (especially Product Development team, as well as sales and the Brand team in Barbados).
Campaign Support:
s plan and execute product marketing campaigns and events, from coordination to creating promotional content and promotional materials. Develops seasonal and shopping related promotional and campaign plans. Ensures marketing collateral (packaging, consumer facing ads, social media posts, copy, etc.) is up to date and readily available whether writing copy, working with internal graphics team or managing an outside resource. Works with 3rd party vendors to execute sampling programs to launch new products.
Communication:
Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams (e.g. Sales, Design) and customers, external vendors or agencies. Assists with client and customermunication. Potentially presents to buyers at annual meetings. Works closely with outside agencies regarding marketing initiatives, i.e.: locates and researches agencies, negotiates prices, obtains service agreements, has agreements reviewed for legalpliance, etc.
Content Creation:
Assists in developing marketing materials like presentations, white papers, case studies, and content, as well as content for paid digital campaigns and unpaid social media (including influencers campaigns and leveraging user generated content).
Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Works closely with Product Development & Merchandising and Sales teams to develop and execute "Go to Market" calendar and to provide them with necessary information and tools. Works closely with Brand Marketing and other internal stakeholders to translate brand positionings into product/retail marketing initiatives and ensure their seamless execution, including retail shopper marketing campaigns and activations, cross-brand and cross-partners collaborations, and customer and consumer promotions.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintains marketing calendars, updates databases, helps manage social media accounts, and handle general administrative duties.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
The requirements
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent training (apprenticeship program, trades certification) + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or University degree + Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Kledge and Skills:
Detailed kledge of operations and procedures to resolve straightforward issues
Good understanding of how the other sectors of business interplay and affect the department
Provides professional services using standard procedure and specific kledge

Additional Skills:
Experience in the apparel industry preferred.
Foundational understanding of marketing principles (especially product marketing and retail/shopper marketing), social media and digital marketing required.
Ability to travel as needed as needed for customer meetings, activations, and quarterly meetings (including international travel to Barbados).
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing plans and programs that drive growth.
Strongmunication (written and verbal),anizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to identify and resolve immediate problems affecting team.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
