Company & Position Overview

McCoy Family Estates is a family-owned, boutique wine brand with vineyards in the Napa Valley. The estate is currently being developed in Napa Valley with home offices in both Napa and Nebraska, the business reflects a long-term approach to building a premium wine program.

The McCoy Family Estates wine program is currently in development, with a soft sales release scheduled for August 1, 2026 at the Royal We Wines tasting room in St.Helena, followed by an official January 1, 2027 release. Vineyard development is led by Hardin Vineyard Management. Wine making is conducted at Mending Wall under the direction of our wine maker Thomas Rivers Brown.

McCoy Family Estates is seeking a sales driven, highly capable, polished, and experienced Brand Manager to lead hospitality, brand execution, and operations for the wine program.

This is not a traditional position. This role represents a rare opportunity to help launch and develop a new wine brand from the ground up, playing a central role in establishing the tone, standards, and identity of McCoy Family Estates in the market. This individual will have a direct hand in shaping the brand's early reputation and long-term trajectory. They will also serve as the primary representative of the brand, delivering exceptional guest experiences, wine engagement, and long-term client relationships.

This is a newly established role within the organization. While initial responsibilities are outlined below, this position is expected to evolve over time in close collaboration with our team to refine priorities, processes, and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary ambassador of McCoy Family Estates

Develop and execute marketing initiatives across digital, partnerships, and direct outreach

Deliver a consistent and elevated guest experience across all touchpoints

Coordinate content creation (photo/video/social/email campaigns)

Identify and develop strategic partnerships (concierge groups, luxury travel, etc.)

Track performance metrics and report on lead sources and conversion

Ensure all brand materials and environments reflect high standards

Build and manage relationships with past and prospective customers

Host public and private tastings at Royal We Wines and partner locations

Accurately utilize point-of-sale, CRM, campaign, and shipping software to manage purchases, allocations, releases, inventory, and customer records

Order merchandise, packaging materials, retail material, and operational supplies needed for bottling, shipping fulfillment, and tasting room operations, ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained

Manage office work as needed, with the help of our accounting and legal departments

Create, plan, and execute 1-2 wine releases per year

Communicate and educate guests on the McCoy story, vineyard, and wines with confidence and authenticity

Ensure consistency in presentation, service, and storytelling across all customer interactions

Maintain a polished, professional presence aligned with the brand

Qualifications

5-10+ years in wine, luxury hospitality, or high-end client services

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Background in wine

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and willingness to learn

Comfortable wearing multiple hats (sales, operations, marketing, etc.)

Ability to travel locally and nationally for events as required

Sincere passion and enthusiasm for elevated hospitality, fine wine, and the Napa Valley

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time

Must maintain a clean, professional appearance, and welcoming demeanor

Compensation Structure

Base salary of $90,000, plus incentive pay. Total compensation is expected to exceed base salary meaningfully for candidates who successfully achieve sales objectives.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, candidate experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and applicable employment laws. MCFE reserves the right to modify the range in the future.

Flexibility is required. Work will include weekends and evenings based upon business demands.
