Position OverviewWere looking for a highly creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Organic Social Media Strategist Contractor to support the planning, execution, and optimization of organic social media efforts across a variety of client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the creative and strategic side of social, stays ahead of platform trends, and knows how to turn content into meaningful engagement and brand growth.The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, copywriter, trend watcher, and community-minded marketer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage organic social media strategies tailored to client goals, target audiences, and platform best practicesCreate monthly content calendars aligned with brand messaging, campaigns, seasonal moments, and platform trendsWrite engaging, platform-specific social media copy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and other emerging platformsCollaborate with internal creative teams on content direction, visual storytelling, video concepts, and asset needsConduct hashtag, keyword, and trend research to support reach, discoverability, and engagementSupport Pinterest optimization efforts including keyword strategy, board organization, and pin distributionMonitor platform updates, social trends, and emerging content formats to proactively recommend opportunitiesSupport community management by monitoring comments, messages, and engagement opportunities when neededAnalyze content performance and provide strategic recommendations based on insights and reportingAssist with influencer, partnership, and user-generated content ideation as neededEnsure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and overall marketing objectivesParticipate in client calls, brainstorms, and internal strategy meetingsQualifications25+ years of experience in organic social media marketing, preferably within an agency or multi-brand environmentStrong understanding of major social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and content best practicesExcellent copywriting and communication skillsExperience building content calendars and managing multiple accounts simultaneouslyStrong understanding of engagement strategy and audience growth tacticsFamiliarity with short-form video strategy and content ideationAbility to interpret social analytics and turn insights into actionable recommendationsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and deadlinesSelf-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamPreferred Skills & PlatformsStrong understanding of Meta platforms including Facebook and Instagram best practices, engagement strategy, and content planningExperience developing and optimizing LinkedIn content for brand awareness and thought leadershipFamiliarity with Pinterest SEO, keyword strategy, board organization, and content distributionProficiency in Trello and Asana for task management, content workflows, and team collaborationExperience using Slack for internal communication and cross-functional collaborationExperience with Canva to collaborate on creative direction and simple content creation/editingExperience with Sprout Social for scheduling, analytics, reporting, community management, and social listeningPreferred QualificationsExperience working with lifestyle, luxury, home, hospitality, nonprofit, or eCommerce brandsUnderstanding of SEO and keyword integration within social contentFamiliarity with creator/influencer collaboration strategiesBasic understanding of paid social amplification strategiesExperience working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients and deadlinesContractor DetailsContract / freelance positionFlexible remote work environmentHours may vary based on client workload and project needsOpportunity for ongoing, long-term collaboration recblid hr6v8s3s5hldmjisk4tp8vykieol2l Not Specified
