Our client is one of the top ranked civil engineering firm in Arizona and is seeking a Marketing Proposal Specialist to lead and manage the firm's proposal process from start to finish. This role is highly visible and plays a critical part in positioning the firm for success through strategic, high-quality, and client-focused submittals. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a deadline-driven environment. This individual will serve as a central coordinator between internal teams and external clients, ensuring all proposals, qualifications, and presentations are executed with consistency, accuracy, and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Own and manage the full proposal lifecycle from kickoff through submission for RFQs, RFPs, and SOQs Serve as the central coordinator between technical staff, leadership, and deadlines Develop, edit, and assemble compelling proposal content, including project descriptions, resumes, and narratives Ensure compliance with all client requirements, including formatting, content, and submission guidelines Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions Coordinate and prepare client-facing materials and presentations, including interview decks and logistics Maintain and update proposal databases (resumes, project sheets, boilerplate content) Manage client and vendor registrations and prequalification requirements Support business development efforts by tracking opportunities and assisting with pursuits Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, quality, and efficiency Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred. Industry experience may replace this requirement. 5+ years of experience managing proposals in the A/E/C industry Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Graphic design and presentation development experience a plus Required proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
