Job Description

The Industrial Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with OEMs, distributors, integrators, and end users, and expanding existing accounts. On a day-to-day basis, they analyze market trends and customer needs, develop and execute growth strategies, and manage a pipeline from initial prospecting through closing deals. The role also involves working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teams to support opportunities, while actively engaging and enabling channel partners through training, joint customer calls, and business planning. Success in this role comes from balancing strategic planning with hands-on customer and partner engagement to grow revenue, expand market share, and deliver on business targets. This job requires 25-50% travel, mostly domestically with occasional international travel.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors degree

-5-10 years experience in business development, technical sales, industrial sales, product management, or market development within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

-Channel management experience (driving rvenue through partners, not just alongside them)

-Strong understanding of industrial markets, customer buying processes, and application-based selling -Technical degree or prior experience supporting engineered products, motion and control technologies, fluid power, filtration, automation, or related industrial solutions.

-Experience working with OEMs, distributors, system integrators, or end users in industrial markets.
