The department of University Communications is accepting applications for the Marketing Coordinator position.
Examples of Duties- Contribute to the creation and execution of marketing tactics.
- Assist with the development of marketing plans, advertisements (print and digital), videos and campaigns, including researching, preparing/reviewing copy, organizing photoshoots/videoshoots and other related duties.
- Assist with assessment efforts and data-driven approaches to improving the unit's marketing strategies.
- Prepare and submit reports, as assigned.
- Assist in the supervision and management of the University Communications Brand Ambassador.
- Assist in developing marketing and brand training/workshops for campus partners and other university stakeholders.
- Assist with management, content development and content curation for social media accounts in alignment with JSUs goals and brand guidelines.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
- Understanding of core marketing strategies and techniques, with a demonstrated ability to develop engaging marketing materials.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and drive significant progress with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with creative thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion.
- Strong track record of utilizing digital and social media platforms to effectively communicate with and market to diverse audiences.
