The Philadelphia office of Cozen O'Connor is looking for a bright, creative, client service-oriented Marketing Specialist with strong critical thinking skills and a high level of organization and attention to detail. Working alongside the Director of Practice Group Marketing, the position requires a blend of writing, project management, and research, all aimed at strengthening the firm's brand and helping attorneys win new business. The successful candidate will be expected to actively acquire in-depth knowledge of each practice group, along with an understanding of their strategies, priorities, and clients. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field is required. Minimum of five years of marketing or business development experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services industry. Knowledge and skill in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Database experience preferred. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and location. Pitch & Proposal Development: Create tailored pitches, proposals, and marketing materials for specific practices; track results, and analyze trends, as well as respond to other requests for marketing materials. Content Creation: Proactively update and maintain biographies, brochures, practice group descriptions, web copy, matter lists, and other collateral. Awards & Rankings: Prepare and manage award submissions for assigned practices, working directly with attorneys to submit responses in a timely manner. Digital & PR Content: Create web content, including news items and event descriptions, as well as draft press releases to support the firm's visibility. Coordinate alerts and other communications. Event, Conference, & Sponsorship Management: Coordinate event and conference logistics, including agenda planning, developing invitation lists, speaker logistics, attendee tracking, materials preparation, internal communication, and strategy. Provide onsite support and liaise with attorneys and other departments. Coordinate sponsorship opportunities by evaluation options, managing deliverables, tracking benefits, and ensuring alignment with practice group goals. Research & Analysis: Conduct research on existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and industry or market trends to assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and business development efforts. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing, communications, and graphics team members and perform other duties as assigned. Other: Manage other business development projects as necessary.
