Hon's Honey is a social enterprise and Workforce Development program of The Well, through employment and dedication to giving dignity and purpose to women survivors of trauma- addiction, trafficking, generational poverty and abuse. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1-3 years of experience managing social media platforms for an organization, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
Proficiency with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and strong social media management and content creation skills.
Excellent writing, storytelling, photography, graphic design, and short-form video creation abilities
Highly organized with experience planning content calendars, scheduling posts, and managing multiple brands simultaneously
Strong understanding of brand voice, audience engagement, influencer partnerships, and mission-driven marketing
Collaborative, self-motivated, and passionate about social impact, women's empowerment, and community engagement
Experience with Canva, social media scheduling tools, and email marketing platforms preferred
Basic knowledge of SEO, social media analytics, and content performance metrics.
Part-time Hybrid 24 hours per week
Must work in person at least 1 day a week for capturing content
Job Description
Social Media Content Creation + Management (For The Well, Hon's Honey and Marketplace)
Manage all accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Write compelling, on-brand captions for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn posts
Create eye-catching graphics and independently photograph campaigns or events
Schedule posts and stories through a scheduling platform, one month in advance
Keep the "link in bio" updated with relevant and timely links
Maintain a consistent brand voice and language across all platforms
Execute Fundraising strategies through social media, working alongside the Marketing Director
Platform Coordination & Strategy
Maintain strong brand voice & tone across messaging and announcements from The Well, Hon's Honey & Hon's Honey Marketplace through co-posting strategies while adhering to storytelling guidelines
Initiate interviews and questionnaires of Worker Bees (Hon's Honey Employees) for marketing purposes alongside the Hon's Honey Marketing Manager
Maintain an ongoing content strategy in partnership with the Hon's Honey Marketing Manager
Ensure all content reflects and supports the mission and values of both organizations
Monitor and respond to tagged posts, direct messages, and comments to drive engagement and platform performance
Discover and build relationships with new Hon's Honey influencers while nurturing current partnerships
Collaboration & Meetings
Collaborate with the Hon's Honey Marketing Manager to gain approval on all content
Attend monthly remote Marketing meeting
Work closely with the Marketing Director and Hon's Honey Manager to align on goals, priorities, and brand consistency
Media Mentions
Media mentions added to the drive (@'s, collabs, etc)
Assist with/Execute The Well's Email Newsletters + Campaigns
Content creation, graphic design, and scheduling
Assist with Managing all Network Opportunities
Assist Hon's Honey Marketing Manager with new collaborations, partnerships, and opportunities
