Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $101,500.00 - $169,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. As a Senior Product Manager within the Inventory Solutions portfolio at Cox Automotive you will work within a release train that supports Manheim, Central Dispatch, or Ready Logistics. Manheim is the leading Automotive Wholesale Marketplace and operates 70+ auction facilities, managing over 4 million vehicles annually. Central Dispatch is the leading automotive logistics digital marketplace, allowing shippers to connect directly with carriers to facilitate over 17M vehicle moves every year. Ready Logistics is one of the largest automotive logistics brokers in North America, acting as a managed service that moves vehicles on a shipper's behalf.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will translate business strategy and stakeholder insights into actionable product plans, define and prioritize requirements at the epic and feature level, and maintain a well-groomed product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with release train leaders and team members across product, engineering, UX, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform capabilities that maximize value. Your responsibilities will span product discovery, roadmap definition in partnership with product leadership, stakeholder engagement, go-to-market planning, and identification of future platform opportunities based on organizational objectives and operational needs.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and influence product strategy for borrower risk mitigation in alignment with organizational goals.
Drive market analysis and segmentation to identify growth opportunities and prioritize investments.
Establish user archetypes and ensure product decisions align with business objectives and customer needs.
Agile Delivery & Backlog Leadership
Lead PI planning and backlog prioritization across multiple teams and release trains.
Own epics and features end-to-end; ensure clarity in user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering and UX to deliver high-quality products through the full lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Serve as a senior liaison for stakeholders, driving alignment and resolving complex challenges.
Represent customer and business priorities to influence technology decisions and feature development.
Coordinate across delivery streams to maintain a unified product vision and execution plan.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Translate complex data into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
Monitor product performance, identify optimization opportunities, and lead testing initiatives.
Use KPIs and analytics to inform roadmap decisions and continuous improvement.
Risk Management & Compliance
Apply risk management principles to product decisions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Maintain traceability and rigor in requirements, prioritization, and delivery processes.
Who You Are
Bachelors degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a masters degree and 2 years experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years experience in a related field
Advanced knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology and experience leading agile teams.
Proven ability to manage complex backlogs, prioritize features, and deliver in fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into strategic product decisions.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
Deep understanding of risk management principles, ideally in financial services or lending.
Familiarity with data products, analytics platforms, or risk scoring systems.
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and achieve KPIs through strategic initiatives.
Technology-savvy with strong skills in requirements analysis and system integration.
