The Goal of this position is to support and contribute to marketing department performance by participating in the planning, oversight, execution, and follow-up of programs, promotions, key initiatives, and select partnerships, both on-going and ad-hoc, that directly impact revenue, new customer acquisition, traffic, average ticket, membership conversion, and membership retention results. This position will have broad exposure to various marketing disciplines, including direct oversight on key field organization programs, and serve as a key contact for the field for campaign-related needs and questions. Tasks and exposure will span multiple cross-functional teams, including Operations, Facilities, and Training, in addition to all verticals within the Marketing department, interacting with all levels of employees from hourly to senior leadership.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

Brand Marketing Special Projects Coordination

  • Participate in the planning and ongoing maintenance of the on-site merchandising signage plan, including updating schematics regularly
  • Provide graphic design support for department and broader company needs, ensuring brand-fit and adherence to visual standards
  • Support special projects related to membership programs, pricing, promotions, and/or product, including competitive tracking

Individual Site Support and Relationship Management

  • Review and approve signage and collateral supply orders to ensure cost control and proper utilization of company-owned inventory
  • Maintain all aspects of the field ordering portal including credential management, accuracy of items displayed, visibility parameters based on role or district, and maintaining a positive stock position on critical items to ensure continuity of supply
  • Serve as point-of-contact for the field on any brand/national programs as well as communicate updates or changes as needed to ensure preparedness

Consumer Insight & Voice of the Customer General Support, Response, and Escalation

  • Regularly review customer survey response data and respond as needed, providing appropriate service recovery to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist with developing, deploying, monitoring, and synthesizing insight from voice of customer programs
  • Research and propose new insight gathering techniques and incentive programs that enable a closed loop feedback system

Marketing Department General Support

  • Manage all aspects of gift card program including fulfillment, tracking, and providing service recovery for issues related to gift card use
  • Corporate and Field Marketing support functions including live events and activations, fundraiser and donations, and partnership programs such as responding to requests and fulfillment and/or being present on-site as a representative of the company
  • Manage sweepstakes and other contests/giveaways hosted by the company including controlling and shipping prize assets
Qualifications

Skills & Attributes:

  • Self-starter with a service/support mentality and the ability to work quicky and accurately, both independently and in a team environment
  • Organized and thorough project manager mindset with strong attention to detail, process, and follow-through
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms like mainstream social media platforms, third-party mobile app dashboards, and CRM builders
  • Positive, energetic personality and resilient attitude under pressure, time constraints, and shifting priorities
  • Intermediate graphic design skills in Adobe Illustrator with the ability to adapt to the brands visual systems and guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Marketing preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a corporate Marketing environment preferred
  • Professional and clean uniform and appearance
  • Organized and detailed with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, project management platforms like Monday.com, and CRM platforms/systems
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator to edit existing files and creating new designs from scratch
