Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager will develop and manage the organizations functional Marketing Plans across all ArtsQuest properties and programs by activating the organizations promotional and advertising efforts to drive revenue and exceed budget goals, while promoting the organizations mission and evolving goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing and Planning
Execute marketing strategies created by COO, Senior Director of Marketing and Corporate Partnerships and Director of Content Marketing and engagement and aligned with organizational objectives to grow sales / revenue in performing, visual, experiential programming, cinema, merchandise, hospitality inclusive of all free and ticketed programing.
Provide regular reports and updates to Senior Director, Marketing and Sponsorship and COO on marketing performance, with a focus on increasing ticket sales, class registrations and engagement.
Communicate with departmental liaisons in strategy meetings. Discuss Marketing plans and gain agreement on path forward activating marketing budgets, guerilla marketing strategies, promotions/contests and event tabling to exceed goals.
Lead the organizations event marketing tabling initiatives and other growth-oriented initiatives along with counterparts across the organization, helping achieve the organizations mission in measurable ways.
Marketing/Relationships
Serve as the ArtsQuest liaison to external collaborative marketing organizations such as the Downtown Bethlehem Association of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and others.
Accountable to obtain, record and report metrics for all marketing/advertising for ArtsQuest and its sponsors providing global and/or specific marketing reports as requested of sponsor metrics in the preparation of Partnership Summaries.
- Cultivate relationships through attendance of networking events as a representative of ArtsQuest.
Box Office/Ticket Sales
Communicate with the box office team for all ticket sales and experiences, optimizing operations for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Oversight of all marketing campaigns associated with the organizations ticket sales, classes, camps and ticketed experiences providing direction and leadership when revisions are necessary.
Analyze and review sales metrics from marketing campaigns and provide feedback and updated/new initiatives to senior leadership.
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
BA in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or relevant work experience.
At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing or related field.
Goal driven, attention to detail, and a creative problem solver with a proven track record of success in sales, media buying, digital marketing, website development, social media, e-mail marketing, and retail, wholesale/consignment and E-Commerce merchandising.
Ability to create and implement innovative and creative ticketing and marketing initiatives.
Ability to work within a budget, identify opportunities for increasing revenue and reducing costs, maximizing our return on investment(s) and increasing our bottom line to promote the sustainability of the organization.
Strong time management, communications and interpersonal skills with a talent to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives exercising independent judgement in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring accountability for program and budget results across ArtsQuests four pillars of programming: performing arts, visual arts, education and festivals and events.
