SUMMER EVENT BRAND AMBASSADOR & EVENT SETUP (Santa Fe) compensation: $20/hr About Us: BuildSwift Modular is a Santa Fe-based modular construction company. This summer we're deploying our solar-powered, air-conditioned BaseBox units as cooling stations and community amenities at some of Santa Fe's biggest outdoor events. The Role: We're looking for one reliable, hands-on, presentable, outgoing person to help set up, operate, and staff our BaseBox cooling stations at events this summer. This is not a sales position but it's more than just showing up. You'll be involved from initial setup through daily operations and breakdown. The owner will be on-site throughout. What You'll Be Doing: Assist with initial unit setup on delivery day staging interior, connecting generator, setting up marketing materials Daily cleaning and tidying of the interior before and during events Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome Answering basic questions about the BaseBox and BuildSwift Modular Knowing when to refer a conversation to the owner Restocking and maintaining handout materials throughout the day Assist with breakdown and cleanup at end of event Event Schedule: International Folk Art Market July 7-12 | Santa Fe Railyard Park Tuesday July 7: Setup day, 8:30 AM Thursday July 9: 4:15 PM - 9:00 PM Friday July 10: 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday July 11: 9:15 AM - 9:00 PM Sunday July 12: 9:15 AM - 4:00 PM, followed by breakdown and pickup Additional events being confirmed include the Traditional Spanish Market (July 25-26), Santa Fe Summer Scene by Lensic 360, and others throughout the summer. What We're Looking For: Reliable and punctual setup days require early starts Comfortable with light physical work moving furniture, setting up interiors, basic connections Friendly and confident with the public Presentable and professional in appearance Genuine interest in Santa Fe's community and arts scene is a plus No prior sales or marketing experience required Compensation & Details: $20/hour, paid as independent contractor (1099) Hours as listed above plus additional summer events Estimated 10-12 paid days total across the summer Outdoor events in Santa Fe dress for the weather and bring layers for early mornings To Apply: Send a brief intro about yourself who you are, why this sounds like a good fit, and any relevant experience .No formal resume required, but feel free to include one if you have it.
