Marketing and Communications Project Manager

Carlow University is currently accepting applications for our Project Manager role within the Marketing and Communications Department.
The Marketing and Communications Project Manager drives complex, cross-functional marketing campaigns from conception to execution, serving as the operational backbone for brand, growth, and digital initiatives. Ensure campaigns launch on time and within budget, improving efficiency, managing project lifecycles, and fostering alignment among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns and oversee the full project lifecycle, including launch planning and post-campaign analysis.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central point of contact between Brand, Growth/Performance Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and program teams to ensure alignment.
Workflow Optimization: Audit existing processes to implement efficiencies, standardizing workflows, templates, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Basecamp, Agentic tools).
Stakeholder & Agency Partners Management: Communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics to executive leadership; manage external agencies and vendor relationships.
Budget Oversight: Track project spending and resource capacity to ensure optimal utilization and ROI.
Required Experience & Skills:
Experience: 5-7+ years in marketing operations, project management, or a similar role, often with 3+ years in a senior or leadership position. Agency experience a plus.
Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Basecamp, Workfront) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, CRM, SEO, AI and brand strategies.
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, ability to navigate ambiguity, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving.
