POSITION TITLE: Market Research Analyst
THE POSITION:
At this time, we require the services of a professional in the position of Market Research Analyst to analyze market conditions and product trends within the restaurant and food industry, identify new markets and sales opportunities, evaluate competitors, pricing, sales performance, and marketing and distribution channels, and develop data-driven insights to support effective marketing strategies for our authentic Brazilian barbecue and dining experience.
The Market Research Analyst will research and evaluate data related to the current restaurant market, customer demographics, and dining preferences, with a focus on Brazilian and barbecue cuisines, identify ways to maximize sales by gathering customer feedback through surveys and other data sources, and summarize findings to provide recommendations for enhancing the dining experience and attracting new clientele. This role includes delivering reports with graphical data insights to management, assessing customer and employee satisfaction, gathering and analyzing data on competitors pricing, sales strategies, and marketing methods, measuring the effectiveness of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and community outreach programs, and developing and implementing procedures for local and online advertising, including promotions for special events and seasonal offerings. The Market Research Analyst will also utilize advanced Excel techniques and Microsoft SQL Server to organize large datasets relevant to restaurant operations and build statistical models to predict customer trends and business outcomes related to menu items, pricing, and promotions.
This position reports to Owner, Valteir Rosa.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and evaluate data related to the current restaurant market, customer demographics, and dining preferences, particularly focusing on Brazilian and barbecue cuisines;
Identify ways to maximize sales by gathering feedback from customers through surveys and other data collection sources;
Summarize data and make recommendations regarding ways to enhance the dining experience and attract new clientele;
Deliver reports with graphs illustrating data insights to management, focusing on actionable strategies;
Assess customer and employee satisfaction to inform improvements in service and operations;
Gather data regarding competitors in the local restaurant industry, analyzing their pricing, sales strategies, and marketing methods;
Measure the efficiency of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and community outreach programs;
Develop and implement procedures for local and online advertising, including promotions for special events and seasonal offerings;
Utilize advanced Excel techniques and Microsoft SQL Server to organize large datasets relevant to restaurant operations;
Build statistical models to predict customer trends and business outcomes for menu items, pricing, and promotions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in business analytics or in a related field.

RATE OF PAY: $81,000 - $85,000 / year (The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.)
