Learn more about our culture and programs by clicking here. Position Summary The Human Resources Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in promoting employment opportunities across the district. This individual will support recruitment efforts by creating, managing, and distributing job vacancy content through digital platforms, college outreach, and social media campaigns. The role bridges Human Resources and marketing to enhance visibility of the district as an employer of choice and attract qualified candidates to open positions. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field required Experience: Experience in social media management and content creation (especially LinkedIn and Instagram); familiarity with recruitment platforms such as Handshake preferred Strong writing, communication, and basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to evolving technology and systems Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate professionalism while working both independently and collaboratively Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $22.79 - $29.97 Work Schedule: 261 Days, 7.5 hours Paid Time Off: Sick and Personal Business paid time, up to 13 days Bereavement Leave Insurance: Employees are eligible for the following insurance benefits after one full day of employment: Comprehensive health plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield - MESSA Dental and Vision Coverage (no cost to employee and qualifying family members) Life, short-term and long-term disability benefits Additional coverages; supplemental benefit options, additional life insurance and pet insurance Retirement: Two plan options through the 15th largest pension system in the United States, Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System (MPSERS) Additional Benefits: Professional Development opportunities Longevity pay after 10 years of service Why Grow With Us?
