STEWARDSHIP COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

General Responsibilities\:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Stewardship Communications Specialist to join the Office of Donor Relations and Engagement within the Office of Advancement. The primary responsibility of this position is to play a lead role in creating personalized acknowledgments, correspondence, and stewardship/impact reports on behalf of UAB Advancement. The Stewardship Communications Specialist will assist with developing and enhancing print and digital content with the goal of strengthening relationships with donors to UAB.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Advancement Impact and Engagement. The Stewardship Communications Specialist works closely with other members of the Office of Advancement, other University personnel and community members to translate the Universitys mission and goals into substantial achievements in fundraising and general advancement.

The position is full-time and hybrid-eligible after the probationary period.

Key Duties & Responsibilities\:
1. Assist the research and writing of student and faculty biographies and research and program updates for donor impact reports. Proofs copy and ensure accuracy.
2. Use approved design templates to create stewardship reports and presentations that include accurate and detailed programs, faculty, and financial information.
3. Help prepare impact reports and other stewardship for donors, including assembling folders for meetings and printing and mailing reports.
4. Track and manage confidential donor stewardship information in the donor database.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Pay Range\: $43,890 $55,000
Minimum Requirements\:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Preferred related degrees in Communications, Journalism, or English.
