Marketing Assistant Part-Time Ryan Center and Boss Ice Arena (U of Rhode Island)

Overview The Marketing Assistant role will work with the Athletics Marketing Staff and will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience in sports marketing, event planning, and game day fan experience. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open August 14, 2026. Responsibilities Learn to create and execute email campaigns Understand the process for developing and executing game promotions and plans Student interest research & data collection Assisting in the planning and promotion of Junior Ruckus and Ruckus programs Assisting in the Fan Engagement Operations for Football, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball Serving as the lead for select Olympic Sports Qualifications Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in a local university. Availability to work a pre-determined number of hours per week Organization and time management skills General understanding of Microsoft Suite & Google Suite Willingness to learn Interest in sports (preferred but not required)
