This role is responsible for intake, prioritization, workflow coordination, timelines, KPIs, resource allocation, and quality control, ensuring all marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, consistently, and at a high standard. The Director directly manages the marketing team responsible for execution, including the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager, Digital Communications and Marketing Specialist, Print Production Manager, and Lead Graphic Designer, providing day-to-day oversight, direction, and accountability across all active projects. The Director serves as the central point of coordination for all marketing requests, ensuring clear scope, ownership, and alignment across departments and programs. This role translates strategy into execution, aligning day-to-day operations with organizational priorities. The Director must be fully proficient in core marketing tools and platforms and able to step into hands-on execution when needed, while maintaining primary ownership of workflow management, prioritization, and delivery. Responsibilities Own intake, review, prioritization, and assignment of all marketing and communications requests across the organization Manage end-to-end project execution from intake through completion Ensure all work is properly scoped, scheduled, and tracked through delivery with clear accountability Own and enforce deadlines across all marketing and communications projects Monitor KPIs, workload, and workflow performance to ensure effective and timely execution Manage day-to-day marketing operations and workflow coordination Ensure appropriate allocation of resources across competing priorities Identify, escalate, and resolve bottlenecks in workflow and execution Maintain structured and consistent execution processes across the team Ensure quality control of all marketing deliverables prior to final distribution Align project timelines and priorities with organizational needs and leadership direction Coordinate cross-functional communication between departments and stakeholders Ensure consistency of messaging, branding, and execution across all channels Support team members in clarifying scope, priorities, and deliverables Provide operational oversight to improve efficiency, speed, and consistency of output Qualifications Provide coordination and leadership across marketing team functions to ensure aligned execution Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred 5-8+ years of marketing, communications, or operations/project management experience Strong experience managing workflows, deadlines, and cross-functional priorities in a multi-stakeholder environment Demonstrated ability to enforce process, prioritize work, and ensure accountability across teams Strong decision-making skills with ability to balance competing priorities and organizational needs Strong working knowledge of marketing production workflows across digital, print, and communications channels Proficiency in core marketing tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, with ability to step into execution as needed Working knowledge of marketing platforms and systems (Salesforce, Wordpress, Monday.com) with ability to support execution and troubleshoot workflows as needed Experience managing marketing requests across multiple departments or program areas Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills High attention to detail and quality control Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining clarity and consistency of execution Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment preferred Share job details to
