A product visionary with a proven track record in market research, product life cycle management, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep knowledge of marketing strategy and will be responsible for managing multiple product lines, driving profitable growth, and building strong supplier relationships. The candidate will be able to work effectively with team members across the organization. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the product life cycle process for assigned product lines. Develop and implement product strategies to optimize profit of assigned product lines. Collect customer feedback and monitor market trends for use in new product launches. Monitor and manage profitability of existing products. Stay current with industry trends and product regulatory requirements. Coordinate marketing programs with internal and external stakeholders. Design and deliver product training as needed. Support the sales team and customers with product questions. Conduct market research to identify potential vendors. Assess for price, quality, and ease of doing business. Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts. Manage vendor sourcing decisions and recommend alternate sourcing strategies for existing vendor base. Develop and maintain comprehensive vendor scorecard for assigned product lines. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field with 3+ years industry work experience or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Proven ability to multi-task and pivot as needed. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Knowledge of SAP and marketing strategies for industrial products is a plus. Position is on-site in Strongsville, OH. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
