Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is an enthusiastic, curious, and creative doer. This role plays a key part in the planning and execution of events across all Armour Group properties, including the Queen’s Marque District, Muir Hotel, Barrington Hotel, Historic Properties, the F&B Portfolio, and the Delta Dartmouth. As an integral member of the Marketing & Communications team, the coordinator applies their wellhoned skills across a diverse range of business areas, from commercial and residential leasing to premium hotel & F&B marketing.

As Marketing Coordinator, you will:

  • Act as point of contact for marketing requests from internal clients, as well as agency partners
  • Ability to draft and distribute internal communications
  • Support marketing administration tasks for internal clients to create marketing materials as assigned, using existing templates (copy + design)
  • Prepare project briefing notes, minutes, and weekly project updates
  • Support with reporting on marketing and sales metrics such as campaign results, web/social media traffic and coverage, conversion rates, CTRs and CPM
  • Update websites as required (WordPress and Square Space)
  • Research/track consumer behavior data (e.g., web traffic and rankings) and prepare reports
  • Monitor competitors’ marketing activities for all internal brands and communicate findings.
  • Assist with organizing and executing promotional and internal events
  • Support tenant and residential relations
  • Support events team
  • Manage and update SharePoint and internal marketing processes and procedures
  • Become proficient with Brand Works, Canva, H ootsuite and other available marketing tools
  • Maintain organized records of marketing metrics, past campaign results, marketing contracts, vendors, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with internal departments on projects and events happening at Armour properties
  • Build connections with third party venders around HRM
  • Update and maintain sales collateral and brand documents for various properties.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Marketing Administrative or Coordinator role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, Marketing or Public Relations or equivalent qualifications of skills and experience an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to working with others and sharing information.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong computer skills in a PC environment including: MS Office and adept at learning new applications. Canva and Mailchimp experience an asset.
  • Competence in Adobe Creative Suites is an asset.
