East Coast Cannabis is looking for a dependable and personable team member to join our wholesale operations team in a dynamic, multi-functional support role. This position plays a key part in coordinating deliveries, supporting event execution, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
In this role, you'll assist with wholesale deliveries, verify orders within METRC, and serve as a representative of East Coast Cannabis at licensed dispensaries and approved industry events. This is a hands-on position that blends logistics, compliance, and customer interaction.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and in customer-facing environments.
This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to expand into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Someone who can switch gears easily, one day handling compliance and deliveries, the next representing the brand in the field. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in both structured and fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
Delivery & Order Fulfillment
Load delivery vehicles based on scheduled wholesale routes
Transport cannabis products safely, accurately, and in compliance with all state regulations
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy, documentation, and correct charges
Complete and maintain all required delivery manifests and records
Perform routine vehicle checks (fluids, tire condition, etc.)
Communicate proactively regarding delays, discrepancies, or issues
Inventory, Compliance & METRC
Assist with order verification and tracking in METRC
Ensure all products and transfers are accurately recorded and compliant
Maintain strong understanding of state regulations related to cannabis transportation and wholesale
Support documentation processes to ensure audit-ready records at all times
Events & Brand Representation
Represent East Coast Cannabis at licensed dispensaries and approved pop-up events
Educate consumers and dispensary staff on product offerings, effects, and responsible use
Set up and break down event displays, ensuring a clean and professional presentation
Transport and manage event materials and brand kits
Build and maintain positive relationships with retail partners
Complete post-event reporting and feedback
Required Qualifications
Must be 21+ and able to pass all required pre-employment screenings
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minor violations may be considered)
Must maintain active personal automobile liability insurance that meets Maine State minimum requirements
Ability to obtain required state credentials (IIC)
Strong communication skills and ability to represent products professionally
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and problem-solve in real time
Comfortable using systems such as METRC (or ability to learn quickly)
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance)
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularly
Ability to stand for extended periods during events
Ability to handle product carefully and responsibly at all times
Preferred Qualifications
1-2+ years of cannabis industry experience
Experience with METRC or similar inventory/compliance systems
Background in retail, wholesale, or customer-facing roles
Experience in alcohol, wine & spirits, or pharmaceutical sales
Familiarity with Maine cannabis regulations
Schedule & Availability
Typical schedule will include Thursday-Friday, with Saturdays required
Schedule is subject to change based on wholesale operations and business needs
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional extended hours as needed for deliveries and events
Pay range: $20 per hour
