Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, self-directed Marketing Manager to lead brand development, demand generation, and external communications. This role is responsible for both strategy and execution, working closely with Sales, Munro Live, and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that supports business growth and market visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute marketing strategy across digital channels, content, and communications.

Develop sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and customer-facing collateral, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.

Manage external communications, including press releases, media outreach, and corporate announcements.

Support Sales through targeted campaigns, content development, and marketing assets.

Collaborate with Munro Live to align content strategy, branding, and promotional efforts.

Establish and maintain brand standards, messaging frameworks, and visual identity.

Plan and execute campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads.

Oversee website content, social media channels, newsletters, and overall digital presence.

Coordinate thought leadership initiatives, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.

Monitor and report on marketing performance, including engagement, traffic, and lead generation metrics.

Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers.

Develop templates and processes to improve efficiency and consistency across marketing activities.

Own end-to-end event management, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and post-event follow-up.

Plan and execute trade show participation, including booth strategy, layout coordination, display development, and on-site brand experience.

Core Focus Areas

Strengthen brand clarity and consistency across all external communications.

Translate technical expertise into clear, business-focused messaging.

Deliver measurable improvements in brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management (B2B, consulting, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred).

Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives independently from strategy through execution.

Strong background in external communications, public relations, and brand positioning.

Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.

Experience with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, social media, CRM systems, and analytics.

Proven collaboration with Sales teams on campaigns, messaging, and enablement.

Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and project management capabilities with a focus on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in engineering, manufacturing, or technology sectors.

Experience with media relations and thought leadership placement.

Experience with video, podcast, or livestream content.

Familiarity with Munro s services, methodologies, or target markets.

Experience supporting events or trade shows.

Basic graphic design or content production skills.

An eye for the aesthetic.
