We are seeking a Senior Product Line Manager that will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies for increasing sales and profits in line with the business objectives. Acting as a mini-GM, the incumbent will own the Growth, Profit, Lifecycle Management, and Product Strategy for the PSA business. They will provide global leadership for the PSA business through planning, directing, coordinating, and organizing all aspects of the product family including new product introduction and growth initiatives, pricing, promotions, sales training, cost reductions, and supply chain support.

Activities

  • Manages product lines within AP&C business units, collaborating globally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Sourcing, and Manufacturing.
  • Develop long-term product strategy to meet market needs with Marketing and R&D.
  • Identifies margin enhancement and risk mitigation projects with R&D, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. Manages and prioritizes project portfolios.
  • Builds product lifecycle roadmap, including development, extensions/rebranding, and rationalization with R&D and Marketing.
  • Support expansion into markets by identifying product adaptations, regulatory considerations, and growth strategies specific to region.
  • Maintains commercial offerings, including SKUs, packaging, pricing, lead times, minimum orders, and order change policy.
  • Leads or supports new product launches from concept to commercialization through Stage-Gate process.
  • Communicates market forces affecting pricing to Sales, including supply & demand, material costs, competitive activity, and innovation.
  • Develops 5-year projections for CAPEX projects.
  • Prepares customer communication for changes in products or services.
  • Coordinates global product portfolio with other Bostik entities.
  • Serves on Market Segment Team, contributing to segment strategy execution.
  • Leads cost savings, risk mitigation, and new product development projects.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to continuously improve product cost structures and deliver greater value to customers
  • Maintains accurate and relevant product systems information.

  • This role is primarily internally focused, with connection to all operating units and functions within the business. The PLM is the voice of the business in operational settings, maintaining the focus on the customer and business growth.

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree in business, chemistry, engineering, or a STEM-related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, Supply Chain, Sales, Tech Service, or a related field. Experience in multiple commercial roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, and MS Project is preferred.
  • Experience with Stage-Gate and leading new product development projects is preferred.

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and business needs within a short time frame
