We're looking for an experienced Content Creator to join a small and mighty, dynamic team with over 300,000 engaged followers! This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating and promoting social media content - especially for small businesses or corporate brands with a local, community-driven approach. This temporary role (part-time or full-time) will cover a team member's medical leave, offering an immediate start.

On-Going Temporary Assignment

Part Time OR Full Time - what's your preference? We are flexible!

$25 - $35 per hour, dependent upon your skills and experience

Immediate Start - 5/12 (or sooner!)

Responsibilities:
Develop and publish engaging content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest)

Plan and execute campaigns in collaboration with local businesses

Manage visual assets using GoPro, drones, cameras, and various video tools

Use software like Adobe Pro Plus, Canva (or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite for content creation, editing and other administrative tasks

Track performance metrics and adjust content strategies to optimize reach and engagement

Maintain consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms

Present a portfolio showcasing past campaigns, especially those focused on small businesses or local marketing

Being a collaborative team player. This is a small office, all parties step-up when the team needs help and being flexible and adaptable to "pitch in" where your strengths lie, can play a key role to overall success within this team.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
3-5+ years of social media content creation experience

Experience working with local and national media outlets, plus influencer collaborations

Knowledge of visual storytelling through photography and video, including use of GoPro, drones, and editing software

Familiarity with Canva or similar tools to create high-quality graphics and posts

A passion for supporting small businesses, local destinations, and community-focused campaigns

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Proven portfolio of content creation and successful campaign execution

Proficiency with Adobe Pro Plus (or Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest)

Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
