Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing - TED, this role will be a key member of the Marketing team and will lead the execution of Viridian's marketing plans for the TED portfolio, which includes two assets in Phase 3. This individual will be responsible for managing a high-performing marketing team and leading execution across two product launches, resulting in the achievement of revenue forecasts over the span of several years.

This role may be based in Waltham, MA, which would be a hybrid role, or it can also be fully remote. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week. If remote, travel to headquarters for meetings would be required at the discretion of management.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Translate brand strategy into a high-impact tactical marketing plan for launch of both potential TED products, ensuring that all pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities are completed on time and on strategy
  • Foster strong collaboration with sales, medical affairs and market access to ensure a seamless patient and HCP customer experience across the treatment journey
  • Drive strategy for multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness and education, leading to rapid adoption across core customer segments
  • Partner with analytics team to identify key performance indicators, and continuously monitor and adjust promotional messaging and campaigns to optimize results
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources, ensuring efficient allocation of funds and maximizing business impact
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory and compliance guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing
  • Bachelor's degree requited
  • Proven track record of leading execution of marketing campaigns for specialty or rare disease products in competitive, complex markets
  • Experience in leading high-performing marketing teams and agency partners
  • Experience using market research and data analytics to identify customer insights and shape marketing strategy and optimize campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing strategies, including patient engagement and HCP media channels
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong commitment to ethical standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience
