The US Oncology Network is looking for a Part-time Marketing Intern to join our team! This position will support the Texas Oncology Corporate Marketing Team in Dallas, Texas based out of the our Merit Offices at 12221 Merit Drive.

What does the Marketing Intern do?
As a Regional and Surgical Marketing Intern, you will support our marketing efforts across various regions and surgical specialties. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and new patient referral growth. This internship will provide valuable insights into the healthcare industry and offer opportunities to contribute to impactful marketing campaigns.
ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Support the creation of engaging and informative marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, presentations, and social media posts.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns targeting regional and surgical audiences, including email marketing, events, and webinars.
- Promotional Support: Aid in planning and execution of marketing and promotional practice events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and clinical specialists, to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining project documentation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in healthcare marketing and a passion for improving patient outcomes .
