About the Role:
Large Production Home Builder seeks an experienced, results-oriented, self-starter as the Sales and Marketing Director. This position is responsible for the overall sales and management of new homes for multiple sub-divisions. The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for linking the marketing and sales teams to support and optimize revenue performance management. This person will analyze and develop metrics to reduce inefficiencies, standardize processes, enhance the execution of marketing campaigns and increase the chances of higher revenue returns for the company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the entire sales and leasing team across multiple business lines, including traditional home sales, new construction projects, rentals, ADUs, etc. Managing the sales and marketing teams to maximize lead generation and qualification efforts.
- Strategic Growth: Evaluate performance of each market vertical and create a long-term strategic plan for building volume and profitability within the market vertical. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share, drive revenue growth, and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales agents, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide ongoing inter-departmental communication and weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports on sales performance.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on emerging real estate trends and investment opportunities in the Bay Area. Use analytic and creative skills to develop inventive ways to identify new sources of potential new clients.
- Sales Operations: Create comprehensive profiles of the target audience for each region to assist with better list selection and increase conversion effectiveness. Manage, develop and implement sales process improvements, identify and eliminate process bottlenecks that inhibit lead processing time. Manage, develop and implement sales commission and compensation structures.
- Transaction Oversight: Supervise all stages and aspects of the transaction process, ensuring smooth closings and a top-tier new homeowner experience.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with homeowners, investors, subs and developers.
- Marketing & Brand Development: Collaborate with internal marketing teams to enhance brand presence and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- California Real Estate and Brokerage license required.
- Proven track record of success in hands on real estate sales and leadership roles with experience in managing a large portfolio of homes for sale and lease.
- Strong sales acumen with an assertive, results-driven personality.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in high-performing Sales and Marketing teams with proven results in revenue generation.
- In-depth knowledge of the Bay Area real estate market and resources.
- Proven understanding of the construction cycle for residential homes as well as escrow coordination.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal skills that include communicating clearly and logically in writing and (verbally) providing supportive data and vital information in an organized succinct and concise manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, CRM systems, Salesforce, Yardi, Rent Cafe and a data-driven approach to sales management.
- Willingness and ability to travel to multiple communities and sub-divisions across Northern California.
